Möte om framtiden för Pardus

Future of Pardus Workshop

Pardus is a Linux distribution developed by a research institute under TÜBİTAK (The Scientific & Technological Research Council of Turkey). Pardus is being used by people around the world, but especially by individuals, companies and institutions in Turkey.

As it stands, we believe that Pardus project has reached a point where we want to open a new era in terms of ensuring its much more widespread community acceptance and in terms of building a healthy eco-system to facilitate an agile, efficient and effective life line for it. At this crucial decision point, we’d like to involve prominent and insightful people in the process of defining a road map for the future.

With this motivation, we are organizing a workshop on 23-24 March 2012. Our intention is to benefit from the knowledge and experience of as many experts as possible to shed light and give direction to our discussions towards building the road map.
